Tubi: Free Movies & Live TV

What Tubi does

Tubi: Free Movies & Live TV brings on-demand films and TV series together with live channels in one Android app. It suits viewers who want a broad range of entertainment without adding another paid streaming subscription. The catalogue covers familiar genres such as action, comedy and horror, along with international programming, anime, K-pop and Bollywood selections.

Where it fits best

Tubi is useful when you want something to watch quickly but do not have a specific title in mind. Its poster-led browsing layout is built around discovery, while separate sections help narrow the choice. The live area adds a more traditional television experience, including news, weather and sports content where available. Viewers looking for Spanish-language programming can also use Tubi Español.

What to keep in mind

• Free access comes with advertising: viewing is supported by ads rather than a standard subscription fee.
• Discovery can take time: a large catalogue offers variety, but finding one particular film or series may involve browsing through several rows.
• Live and on-demand work differently: the on-demand library is suited to choosing a title, while live channels follow a scheduled broadcast format.
• Availability varies: the selection of titles and channels may depend on your location.

Reach and reputation

Developed by Tubi TV, the app is listed in the Entertainment category and has passed 100,000,000+ installs. Its 4.86 rating from more than 2.39 million reviews shows strong overall user satisfaction, though that average cannot say whether the mix of free viewing, advertising, live channels and catalogue depth matches your habits. Tubi is the better fit for viewers who value choice and zero subscription commitment over guaranteed access to every new release.
